# Terms of service

The rules for using RivalNote during early access. Draft, pending legal review.

## 1. Who provides RivalNote

RivalNote is provided by Mazacode LTDA, CNPJ 45.655.559/0001-98, Florianópolis/SC, Brazil.

## 2. What the service does

RivalNote watches public pages of competitors you choose, compares each page with its previous snapshot, and uses AI models to write insights, score them and deliver them in digests and alerts. The insights are generated automatically from public information. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they are not legal, financial or investment advice. You decide what to do with them.

## 3. Early access

RivalNote is in early access and is not open for self-serve sign-up. Access starts with a conversation with the founder. Features, limits and prices described on this site can change before or during early access.

## 4. Accounts and teams

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for the people you invite to your account and for what they do with it.

## 5. Plans and billing

Plans, competitor limits and features are those listed on the pricing page at the time you subscribe. Prices are in US dollars per month and are charged through Stripe. The terms you start on are agreed with you before the first charge.

## 6. Acceptable use

Use RivalNote only to watch pages that are publicly available. Do not use it to get around a login, a paywall or an access control, to harass anyone, or to send more requests through the API than your plan allows.

## 7. Content and data

You keep your rights in the data you put into your account. Competitor pages belong to their owners, and RivalNote keeps snapshots of them only to compare changes. See the privacy policy for how personal data is handled.

## 8. Availability

We work to keep the service running, but these terms do not promise a level of uptime. We may change or retire features with notice to account holders.

## 9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Mazacode LTDA is not liable for business decisions made from the insights. The exact limit of liability is left for legal review.

## 10. Ending the service

You can delete your account in the dashboard at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

## 11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of Florianópolis/SC have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights.

## 12. Changes

If we change these terms in a material way, we will tell account holders before the change takes effect.
